WordPress Plugin of the week: AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild

A delightfully simple plugin this week – AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild – digs you out of a hole when you need a new thumbnail size or change the dimensions of an existing thumbnail.

Normally, you’d have to go through every post and page and re-upload your images. How dull would that be?! Install AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild, click one button and 30 seconds later (time depending on how many posts you have :p) your thumbnails have been recreated!

You can pick which sizes you want to recreate. That means that if you’ve only changed or added one thumbnail size, you don’t have to waste time and resources having the server rebuild all of your thumbnails.

Simple. Useless 99.9% of the time. But absolutely bloody genius in that 0.01% moment of need!
