UK Coastal Images is a company owned by Alan Stubbs a professional photographer. With a reputation for photographic excellence in Sussex, UKCI was looking to sell its images on the internet. UKCI is unique in that the photographs are taken based on sailing projects around the British Isles.
The website includes a web log so that journal style entries can be made during sailing trips. However, the main function of the site is an online gallery with shopping cart facility. As a visual tool, to aid customers understanding of geographic positioning of the image collections, a dynamic map is also imbedded into the site.
